We are looking for you to join our team in the IT Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer (m/f/d) as soon as possible.

Our company headquarters will relocate to Eschborn towards the end of 2026, and your primary workplace will transition to Eschborn accordingly.

Your role in the Wolfpack:

IT Infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain our Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure.
  • Administer Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange/Email services, and Group Policies.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and secure Windows Server and Linux environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, manage alerts, and improve service availability and reliability.
  • Support data center operations, including UPS and cooling systems, and assist with incident handling.
  • Manage and optimize Azure and AWS cloud environments, container platforms, and middleware services.
  • Drive infrastructure efficiency through continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

Information Security
  • Operate and maintain security solutions in alignment with global security standards and policies.
  • Coordinate vulnerability management activities and support remediation efforts.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and escalating security risks.
  • Support security awareness initiatives, including training programs and phishing simulation exercises.
  • Act as first-level support during security incidents and collaborate with global teams on investigations and lessons learned.

What you bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Security, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in IT infrastructure operations and/or information security.
  • Experience with security technologies such as EDR, SIEM, email security gateways, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft environments, server administration, cloud technologies, and networking.
  • Familiarity with information security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, NIS2, and GDPR.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within international teams.
  • Professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
