We are looking for you to join our team in the HR Operations Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a HR Specialist Retail (f/m/d) as soon as possible.

As HR Specialist Retail, you will be the central point of contact for operational HR matters, supporting employees and managers across our retail stores. The role focuses on ensuring reliable, service-oriented and timely HR administration throughout the entire employee life cycle and the consistent application of HR processes across our retail stores.

Our company headquarters will relocate to Eschborn towards the end of 2026, and your primary workplace will transition to Eschborn accordingly.

Your role in the Wolfpack:

  • Independently provide operational HR support to a defined group of retail stores and their employees and managers on all relevant HR matters.
  • Manage the operational implementation of the entire employee life cycle, from onboarding and contractual changes to absences and offboarding.
  • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, contract amendments, certificates, employment references and other HR-related documentation.
  • Advise and support store management and retail leaders on employment law, organizational and HR administration matters arising in day-to-day operations.
  • Support individual employee-related measures, including transfers, changes to working hours or work locations, disciplinary measures and terminations, in coordination with the relevant HR contacts and Legal where required.
  • Ensure complete, accurate and timely HR administration and maintain employee master data in the relevant HR systems.
  • Work closely with the internal Payroll team to prepare and submit payroll-relevant information within the required deadlines.
  • Support the retail organization with store openings, store closures and organizational changes from an operational HR perspective.
  • Prepare and analyze relevant HR reports and key metrics and follow up on outstanding operational HR activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement, standardization and digitalization of HR processes, templates and workflows for our retail stores.
  • Maintain regular communication with the stores and occasionally visit store locations to ensure practical and service-oriented HR support.
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partnering Retail, Recruitment, Payroll and Retail Operations

What you bring:

  • Completed commercial or business-related vocational training, ideally supplemented by an HR qualification, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least three years of professional experience in operational HR.
  • Relevant professional experience in a retail environment is required.
  • Good knowledge of German employment law as well as basic knowledge of social security and payroll tax matters.
  • Experience providing operational HR advice and support to managers and employees and confidence in working with different stakeholders and decentralized structures.
  • Strong organizational skills and a structured, accurate and reliable way of working.
  • Strong service orientation, reliability, accountability and a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and a professional approach, including in challenging situations.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office; experience with HR and time-tracking systems, such as ATOSS or HANSALOG, is an advantage.
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany to our retail stores
